Guess what? It's week 5 of the One Room Challenge!!!! If you aren't familiar with the challenge, Calling It Home hosts a 6 week challenge where bloggers and designers redo one room (You can check out more here). When I decided to participate I thought, man 6 weeks to do one room (I chose my office) that's nothing. I can probably wrap that one in a couple of weeks. I was wrong. Truthfully the injury had everything to do with the delays but still!

Last week, week 4, I didn't even post. Why? Because I hadn't done a thing! It was production week and I just didn't have time. Since then, I've been in overdrive trying to get caught up and while, I got done what I needed I have A LOT to do in the next 7 days. Like what? Oh painting my desk and reupholstering a chair. Nothing much (shakes head).

So, what did I do last week? I purchased a ton of crown and casing and trimmed out the windows and ceilings. Wouldn't you know that I bought too much crown and not enough casing (shopping while on a bit of pain meds results in miscalculations). I got everything up and found out I was one 8 foot piece of casing short of finishing. Bummer!

I headed back out and purchased what I needed and got to work. I finished the trim, painted and hung drapes. Want to see the progress? Here's a couple of teasers to hold you over until next week.

What haven't I taken care of?

Ugh... I am not looking forward to going through all of this over the weekend. But at least when it's done, it's done.
